2022 Rose released and more

Hello friends of Airy Acres Vineyard!

We’re continuing to be open Thurs/Fri/Sat 11-6, and Mon/Tues/Wed for scheduled tastings. Hours may change as the weather gets colder.

In honor of Veterans Day, on Saturday November 11 we are doing free tastings for Veterans and Active Duty military. We will also be giving a free Veterans Pin, while supplies last.

We just released our 2022 Ros̩ Рthat is vibrant in color and flavor, and will surprise you with its robust body and sapid flavor! Fresh, crisp, and succulent, a crescendo of snappy and ambrosial flavors caresses your taste buds. Perhaps it would make a great addition to your Thanksgiving meals?

Speaking of Thanksgiving … we’d love to ship you some wines for those holiday gatherings. For Thanksgiving we’d recommend both our Dry and Semi-Dry Rieslings, Gewurztraminer, Crosswind (Gewurztraminer/Riesling blend), and Cabernet Franc – although all wines go well with family! Order by Nov. 15 to make sure it arrives on time.

The next major phase of tasting room work started this week. All the old windows were removed, also the old clapboard siding, so that the new insulated Zip sheathing panels can be installed. Three sides of the house are done, and the rest in the next week. And then interior work will continue – changing walls, installing electric, insulation, etc.
Stop by and we’ll give you a tour!

We finished our fall harvest Oct. 20! Quantity and quality very promising. And it included our first harvest of the Saperavi and Rkatsiteli, so we’re looking forward to those wines next year.

And for this edition’s bit of wine info, here’s an article about food and wine pairing!

Thanks,
Fred & Noah and the rest of our Bassette family vineyard team
